Why Your Upline is REALLY Afraid of Magnetic Sponsoring and Attraction Marketing…

Many Network Marketers feel Magnetic Sponsoring and the Attraction
Marketing principles it promotes are what this industry sorely needed.
The majority of the industry top dogs who built their businesses
using the traditional "show and tell" technique find this new model
to be a threat to their very system and therefore incomes.
Either they are afraid of it or they just don’t support it because
they know they haven’t yet started to feel the "squeeze" that
attraction marketing on the Internet will irreversibly have on the
way the world does MLM.
I started doing the numbers and it all started to make more sense!
(sort of)
Lets say your upline has 10,000 reps in their organization. If just
the reps on auto-ship buy product, their set for the month.
If the team of 10,000 recruit only one qualified new prospect each,
you may or may not get a bonus but your upline will every month for
those 10,000 new recruits!
All while the new and middle level reps are doing an almost job-like
feat of the daily approach and pique, home party and office meetings.
Your upline is already driving the car that they want and living
their dream life.
Basically, they don’t have enough of an incentive to change unless,
course the are like a $35k+ a month earner named Jake In YTB that is
just burnt of using the old school selling and telling to maintain
and grow this business.
More often than not he/she is unwilling to entertain
anything that requires them unlearning all of the antiquated
techniques that worked best before the Internet became the "go to"
place for business, recreation, and information combined (web 2.0).
This leaves many reps straddling the fence when considering marketing
their businesses on line.
Just this Friday I was talking with a rep named Micheal who came to
my site and sent an email to me saying, "The only reason to ever go
cold is to get into someone else’s warm [market]."
He only gets it half way.
One misconception is that If a prospect is not related to you or
knew you before you started your Networking business, there’s no way
to build a relationship with them if they came through your marketing
campaign.
I’ve found it to be the complete opposite because I have way more in
common with someone who found me through my attraction marketing
because they can relate to almost everything since we’re in the same
boat now!
Another misconception is that if they don’t join your primary
that’s the end of everything…."NEXT!"
With so many affiliate programs that offer the perfect solution to
two major problems in MLM (solid marketing/sales training and
constant stream of free prospects), you’re doing yourself and your
team a major disservice by not retailing these options.
This is because Micheal and reps like him have not fully understood
power of the attraction marketing and still see themselves just as
Network Marketers and not fully independent business owners with
multiple streams of income along side their primary MLM.
It’s the loyalty to benevolent uplines and pain from the "squeeze"
which is not yet fully realized that keeps some rep in a form of
hybrid fantasy.
The world as we know is calling for new more innovative ways to
build a home based business on that can actually be done from home
or anywhere you can use an Internet connection to make a warm
connection

Hi Malika, great post. You are right on. I used to be heavily involved in Pre-Paid legal and I worked my butt off while my upline leaders probably never picked up the phone.
My upline leaders were professional event coordinators. That’s all they did but they told all of us to do stuff they weren’t doing. It’s funny looking back. The cards were all stacked against me recruiting enough people fast enough to make any serious money. Thanks to attraction marketing and technology my life has changed.
Take care.
Carl, unfortunately, as we both know it is not a mindset that destroys just one company. And yes, it is very funny looking back but sad when so many are still slaving away with antiquated training.
I love the way you put that: “Professional Event Coordinators”. One of the positions in ACN is “Team Cooordinator” I wonder is there is any relations…hmmmm.
