One of the best parts about being a coach, trainer and mentor is the pride you feel when your student takes action and does a bang-up job.

Personally,  I feel like a proud mama hen when I get the testimonials of those I’ve assisted in transforming their business .  But there is no better testimonial than YOU making money.

This is a snippet from one such email…

In my last interview, Marc was recently connected with an offline mobile broadband rental company. After researching the key term "mobile broadband rental",  he decided to do a review on it and make it a page on the site.

After all, it fit the site concept (Mobile Broadband Reviews)

Here’s the timeline:

He started the affiliate program for the broadband rental officially on March 1, 2009.

Due to a timed *Goggle-bot* pleasing page-adding strateg, it wasn’t until March 27th, 2009 that the page was posted to his site.

12 days later, BAM! He got a sale notification on April 8, 2009 for a total of $184.45 @ a 15% commission rate.

For a grand total of $27.67.

Update

In addition, he fulfilled requests from his subscribers for additional ways to thank him (with gifts) for his helpful and entertaining information.  Marc decides to add a page on April 4, 2009 specifically for donations called: My Ethical Bribe.

(Which interestingly enough ranks #2 on the first page of Google.com for the term "ethical bribe" at the time of writing.)

Today he got his first donation: $25.00! Not bad at all for a kid building his first website in between writing his college thesis :-) .

(Keep in mind these are just 2 pages on Marc’s site which has about 180 pages.)

Since he’s created these and other pages in the last 30 days along with a simple redesign of the "look and feel" of his, site the traffic has increased 50% per day.

This doesn’t include all of the other sales that come in from his cornerstone product (mobile broadband subscriptions for all the major US carriers) nor his Adsense income.

In this podcast Marc mentions that he doesn’t have any intention of building a team or downline. However, since then (April 11th)  at least one person has "self-elected" to join his sales team without ever speaking to him.

    You make it sound so easy! At least, that's what I thought at first. Then I remembered an email I sent to a site visitor earlier today:

    "I've had my SBI site for a grand total of 1 year and about 2 months. To be honest, whoever told you it was easy lied to you. Perhaps they meant simple (there's a big difference). Easy is easy but simple still takes time, effort, energy and motivation.

    Computer skills can help. They can also work as a handicap if you've learned all the wrong things.

    Like the professor who went to learn from a Buddhist master, he told the professor he could teach him nothing because his mind was too full of all that he thought he knew.

    Would I recommend it? I sure would. Within one year of using SBI I was able to turn a profit and pay off my entire credit card debt. I'm not leaving them anytime soon."

    It was relatively simple to build my site to where it is now. However, it was a lot of hard work. Looking back it seems like a flash because of how focused I am on the present and future.
  • The building part was definitely a learning curve and it took work. But the concepts are simple enough to be executed by anyone with a sincere desire of "give to get". You now have a passive income stream you built in half the time it took you to complete bomb at network marketing.... I guess you were following me!

    Your site can be sold, as young as it is, for thousands if not 10's of thousands of dollars according to a rough appraisal. There people who have been online much longer and have yet to get so much as an adsense check.
