My Little Personal Story

I was down in Georgetown, Guyana, South America and I left before I was old enough to go to school. It was also before they made computerized versions of birth certificate so mine is falling apart!

I’ve also live in Brooklyn, NY and Miami Florida where I met my husband Adam, graduated college from the University of Miami, bought (and sold) my first house and started a family. I know reside in Fort Worth, TX and I love it!

I love red wine, seafood and my vice is Tiramisu. I love to cook, my specialty is lasagna and can’t understand why people want to go to restaurants with perfectly working stove yet they eat raw fish as a delicacy.

As the site name suggests, I’m a mom of 3 nutty characters that I can’t believe I’ve been blessed with. Especially since I always said I’d never have any… But, then again, I also said I wasn’t ever getting married but here we are almost 9 years later and counting with my high school sweet heart!

Now, How did I become the SavvyBuinessMom and why is this site here?

Frankly, I was sick and tired of doing things the same way I’d been told for almost a decade: “Talk to 10 people a day about your business” and, “All you gotta do is talk to more people” or one of my favorites, “They need a check up from the neck up if they don’t join you”. I was also tired of all the motivational fluff that heightened my mind but not the stack in the bank.

Up till this point My Business was a complete fraud!

Calling myself a network marketer when had no idea how to network or market very well at all. I thought the problem was that I couldn’t bring myself to implement some of the tacky, uncouth prospect pick upline I was instructed to say.

The punishment was a slow growing yet loyal sales team

I couldn’t get wealthy building my business like that. At least not anytime soon. and I have a husband and 3 children who are depending on me to make it happen.

The move to Texas from Florida in August 2006 helped me to uncover what I’d subconsciously avoided thinking about for years…

I was following the wrong business marketing model and sales script. A business plan that only look good on paper to a young girl with dreams of grandeur and only when it wasn’t next to my accounts payable sheet. ( YIKES!!)

My Quest For Answers

My focus was in the wrong place and when I lost my network of familiar people and surroundings I was scrambling for answers.

I was desperate because I’d ran out of people to talk to, so I’d jump after every little nibble if someone seemed remotely interested in what I had to offer. Spending money, burning gas and stealing time away from my family often for flakes who either would show up or were grossly under qualified.

It all came to a head late 2007.

The day that changed my business and my life as I’d known it came when I was on my way to what would is now known as the “Last Drive By”. That means it was the last time I would ever even attempt to drive by a prospects home to show them “the plan” or sell products and services.

In a truck I borrowed from a friend, I pulled off to the side of the road about 2 miles from my house. From the Google map on my blackberry I realized it would take me a lot longer than I thought to get to where I need to go. 45 minutes there, 45 back and that didn’t include the actual presentation… Hmmmm.

I sat for a moment to weight my options:

A) Continue on to the meeting which meant I be late for dinner, the kids will be late to bed and I wouldn’t be home by the time my hubby got in… once again.

B) Go home a find a way to get prospects to come to me regardless of where they or I lived in the world.

This site is here because I chose B). Figuring out a way to systematically attract, sort and qualify prospects before I showed them my business, products and services became my obsession. After a brief very successful lead generation campaign using craigslist.org, I built my first site www.GetPaidToProspectOnline.com from my make shift office literally in the back of my bedroom closet.

When I got my first leads that where I called them from. When I made my first $100 I quit my customer service job at Wells Fargo where I made the most I ever did as a W2 employee. $11.75 per hour.

Then My Business Actually Became FUN!

I got good at attracting leads through free Search Engine Optimization (SEO) and social networks. I got great at connecting with people on a genuine level… not just with the hopes of recruiting them or selling them. So good in fact that in less than 12 months I won a full scholarship to the worlds only advanced SEO Mastermind course specifically for the home business owner. I’ve also won top 5 “Most Magnetic Profile” on the Internet largest and most respected home business social network.

And for the first time in my life I realized I didn’t have to pursue anyone to join my sales team or buy my products. All I have to do is make my self available for the ones who were already looking for what I had through the laws of attraction marketing.

And I’ve haven’t look back since.

My Mission Now?

Priority number one is to help Independent business owners like you design a life through building a business that fully funds your wildest dreams in a way that you can be proud of.

Priority number two is to bring my hard working husband, Adam home for good. We’ve done it before… it didn’t last but, this time I’ll be on our own terms with the right guidance.

Priority number three is to provide my children a global education that the can experience first hand instead of just reading about them in books or watching on YouTube.
