2 Ways To Attract Targeted Prospect to Your Landing Page

12 March 2009

Over the last year I’ve asked visitors to my Automated Lead Generation Training site to tell me there most burning questions about generating leads.

The question I’ll discuss with you today is one that I’ve been researching the whole time I’ve been on line because the answer will make both me and my students 6-7+ figure incomes even in a recession.

How to Attract Targeted Prospects to Your Landing Page?

There are 2 ways to do this that will serve you best in both your time and your money invested. One is from traffic through your "hub" or direct traffic with pay-per-click to the page.

We’ll discuss both here.

To explain briefly what a hub is, it’s a place where your prospect comes to find out more about you and you do your best to give them good reason to do business with you.

This will be a website or blog you own.

Lets start with traffic through your hub this is one of my favorite ways because the prospects who enter your sales funel through your hub already has been presold on you.

Because of the nature of a good hub, clicking through to your sales page will be a natural extension to get the most out of your products and services.

You can do this through back-links from, social book marking, social media, getting  related websites,  social networking and forum signatures .

The more targeted your traffic to your hub then the more targeted the traffic to your sales page. So, make sure your links are coming from sites that serve the same target market or is known to serve those fanatical about your niche.

Building a hub takes time to set up another way (and one many gurus swear they started with) to get targeted prospects  to your sales page is paid traffic; Pay-Per-Click.

Although this method takes only a few minutes to set up it does take some skill to create lead getting campaigns instead of  just pain-filled ones.

Both Prospect Attracting Methods Involve Learning The ABC’s

That is keyword research.

You’ve gotta know what words buyers , not just browser, are using right before they hit that buy button for what ever you are selling.

If you plan on using the Internet as a long term strategy for attracting leads, prospects and customers you will want to educate yourself on both Search Engine Optimization (SEO) and paid  search marketing.

I’m currently taking a course on these two subjects to help me tweak my own marketing. Although the one for SEO is currently closed to new registration I will have training available to savvy bsuiness mom members.

That course is called Pay-Per-Click Domination and you can pick up your copy here>> and join the discussion in the forums!

However, I would like to remind you that converting those who land on your webpage from browsers to buyers is the job of the words on your sales page.  Click here to grab your free Copywriting Course here>>
