Today I’m going back into the back office of Eben Pagan‘s Guru Mastermind home study course. The mission is to download the rest of the Customer Conversion Summit I’d apparently neglected the first time around.

But, before I head back there I think it would be a good time to share my personal review of the program. In this post you’ll learn:

I first found Eben Pagan when he was referenced by another master marketer in the home based business industry in mid 2008.

I didn’t understand a lot of what he was talking about because of huge educational gaps in the terminology and concepts. I had only recently learned how to use the internet to attract online shoppers and prospects so naturally some of the stuff was over my head.

But I kept Listening

However, I understood enough to keep on listening. Most of what he said that to do with mindset shifts which effected the way you market and promoted your business… which impact the quantity and quality of your leads and therefore sales of products and services to those leads.

I could dig that.

Coming from the back ground of network marketing, I’d never been spoken to the way Eben speaks and I’d never heard the sales process broken down to such a simple science.

I wanted to get his product but, I felt I wasn’t “there” yet.

The reason I wasn’t “there” (you know the point where you just whip out your credit card and and yell charge it!) is because I had other programs I’d invested in and wanted to apply them before I move on.

I’ve seen what happens when you get scatter-brained about your education and marketing methods and was determined not to become that statistic.

Besides, I’d have to explain to my hubby why I need yet another marketing course especially at the 2k-5k investment (depending on the level you wanted to play at) the Guru Mastermind required.

This year it was a different story completely…

What I wanted most out of Eben’s Guru mastermind program were the structured “frame works” he’d put together and simplified on how to structure your information delivery.

“Information delivery, What the heck is that?”

It has been my experience that success of a marketing and sales campaign is determined by being skillful at asking and answering the right questions.

Our marketing is of information delivery system regardless of it’s form of media: video, audio, written text, images etc. It’s what we use to convey thoughts, ideas and emotion.

In the Guru mastermind course Eben teaches a way to delivery information which answers your potential prospects questions, concerns and even handles resistance to taking action.

I needed that… BAD!

So, this summer I whipped out the credit card and charged it. I know for a fact I was one of the first people to buy because I was sitting there at my computer like an addict waiting for the count down.

One of the bonuses was the “Wake Up Productive” Course. Its a 90 day personal and business productivity and time management bootcamp. This course I’d seen launch with my own two eyes sell at $1500 just a few months before ( stay tuned for that review). It was pretty sweet to get this to help manage the information load of the Guru Mastermind course. The other bonus was a ticket to the live event a few weeks later in Los Angeles, CA.

I was so excited about the live event that I even took a video of me entering my hotel room. It was the first time (since I became a mother of 3) I’d been out of town for so long with an entire hotel room to my self!

So excited in fact that I missed the entire morning session of the first day (total bummer). That didn’t stop me from winning a contest where we had to guess how many shirts Eben had in the exact shade of blue in the picture above.

The prize? 3 Killer interviews valued over $300!

So far it has proven to be one of my best investments at any price. Especially when you consider I’ve made 4 figure investment back multiple times since the live event in July of this year (2009).

How I did that

The first thing I did when I got back from the Guru Mastermind live event was write my first free report. The report is called the Consultation Conversion Formula and is available as a my gift for subscribing to my VIP list… but I digress.

I also began creating both my educational and marketing content faster and easier know that I was clear on how to structure it for maximum impact. It just flowed even easier than before (so fast, in fact, that now I have to hire out some of the editing and posting).

All that means is more and better quality leads that pay faster and better have come my way as a result.

The fact that I’m in the business of helping home based business professionals quit lead buying and become hunted means my clients get bigger faster results too.

I’ve also applied what I’ve learned into a redesign of this website and the creation of several informational products and services to better serve my clients, friends and family.

Is the Guru Mastermind Home Study Course ‘Right’ for you?

If you are a network marketer, direct seller or independent home business owner looking to use the Internet for lead generation you may not be able to wrap your mind around the benefit of an Info-Product Creation program like this.

Especially if you are new to home based business ownership.

You’ve never heard, nor will you ever hear, this type of stuff in your weekly basic training or even the executive level sales training for most businesses.

However, if you understand that everything you do and say to a prospect to intrigue them to buy your product, services or join your sales team is INFORMATON then you will benefit from this program.

Your current under-performing website, bla-zeh business card, boring brochures, ho-hum ads… yup, ALL information products. The only difference is that if you apply what you will learn in the Guru Mastermind to them they will no longer suck.

How long ’til I See Results?

Well, that depends on two things… two things you will hear me say most decisions depend on:

1. How fast you want to make money
2. Your threshold for pain

If you don’t have any clue on what type of business you want or the industry that bet fits you this can be a tough place to start. Why? because it takes some time to digest and implement.

Therefore you won’t make a dime until you set your system up at minimum to the point where you are ready to collect leads. If you are totally new to the web, website ownership, blogging, autoresponders etc. you will have to be patient with your self.

But, you you already have some semblance of a business, either online or offline, you should be able to implement small changes for big results quickly. Keep in mind you should still be patient with yourself because if you do not implement what you learn immediately for what ever reason you’ll have to come back to it.
