Getting Started: 5 tips On Constant Content Creation
One of the biggest barriers WAHM’s have when getting started in business or marketing effectively is content creation. Often we’re stumped on how to get ideas of what to create content about. You will want to already have read the article "Who do you think you’re talking to?" If you have this part of your job will be a breeze.
Here’s how you have Constant Content Creation work for you business.
1. Ask your customers to spill the beans
There’s not a keyword search tool invented that could tell you what your customer want to know better than your customer herself. So just ask her through surveys, review requests, encouraging comments and questions and creating polls.
Ask them about what they are up to or what they may need to learn.
Everyone won’t take the surveys, of course, but you don’t need each and every visitor should at least have the opportunity to share their thoughts feeling and concerns.
2. Mind Mapping
This is where you use a diagram to represent words, ideas, tasks, or other items linked to and arranged radially around a central key word or idea . The elements of a given mind map are arranged intuitively according to the importance of the concepts, and are classified into groupings, branches, or areas. The goal is to find common threads and continue to expand on them in your writing.
3. Self Audit
Write about what you are looking to learn. If there is a skill you are looking to learn, or working on mastering that is a great way to connect with your target market.
4. Rants And Raves
Did you read another article that you thought was missing a critical point? Have an opposite point of view for what someone else wrote? There you go! Just add it to the conversation (on your own site, of course).
Found a resource you think others may be looking for as well? Tell the world about it.
5. What is working your nerves? Do you have a big pet peeve about something you witnessed today? Stand up and speak out… get on your soap-box and lets hear it!
Using these guide lines for content creation means you’ll never run out of ideas to *customer engaging* content. And just for going through this exercise I’ve included a content creation brainstormer for you to download to help draw out your great points.
