How To Build Trust With Prospects Online, Better Than Face To Face?

A major concern for direct sellers, network marketers and home-based business owners when considering using self-created websites for prospecting is  relationship building.

And rightfully so, I might add.

Many people prefer "belly to belly" networking so they can shake someone’s hand and look them in the eye.  It can be hard to gauge whether someone is being genuine when you can’t read their body language or facial expressions… You wanna see if you can trust ‘em, right?

Surely that must be hard, at best, on the Internet! At least that’s what some people think.   But, I have proof of more than a few occasions when the opposite has been true.

This is one I just had to share with you.

This is an email I got from a customer… sharing an email he received from his potential customer about the products he’s selling online.

"People Trust Me. The Guy They Never Met…

Check this out!

Today’s email from Rick. He’s never met me but writes:


"I just talked to a Verizon rep about wireless broadband. Since I am extremely rural, DSL is out, and I won’t consider Hughesnet or any of the others. I asked about wireless broadband, concerned that it, via the UM175, would not work because of my remoteness and the many tall trees around my house. He replied that it did not work like a cellphone but was based on a satellite.


I haven’t read anything here about the UM175 wireless broadband modem working via satellite. Was this salesman playing me just to make a quick sale?"

He doesn’t trust the Verizon guy but he trusts me!!!! Crazi!!! He saw him face to face and places more trust in the web guy that he’s never met. The power of Pre-Selling STRIKES AGAIN!!!
