In the Market or a Good Online Sales Marketing Training Product or Course?
Are you on the fence about how to whether you should invest in a online sales marketing training , a private coaching program or membership site? Want to know what information you should consider to make a good decision.
In this article we go over logical question to ask your self before you get hypnotized by crafty copywriting into buying something you don’t need or can’t afford.
Get Clear On Where You are Now
There are few things worse than buying something you think you need only to discover you didn’t really need it or you already have it.
I was very, very tempted to invest in a $2000 in Jeff Walker’s Product Launch Formula . So much so I even consulted with my sister and my husband to give me there opinion on whether they thought I needed the course.
After showing them what I already have in place I realized this course would mainly be to confirm I was on the right path. Also, there were other ideas from other training/courses I already own I had yet to implement.
In order to get the most out of any new strategies I would need to have those things in place first… So, I passed on The Product Launch Formula , *sigh*….for now.
Have a Plan and Work it!
You may have heard the saying. "It works if you work it!" and it true as ever when it comes to online sales and marketing training and course. Although there are some crappy information out there, the number one reason for failure is lack of action.
The number one reason for lack of action is not having a plan of execution. Few things lead to failure quite as fast as having the right tools and not using it.
Create an action plan and work it!
Be Ready To Receive
First, you want to know where your money is going and only spend money on courses, tools and resources that will help your business grow. Unless you’re ready to create your own product, why would you invest in an online sales and marketing course to teach you how to create a product?
Make sure you’ve taken advantage of all the previous information you’ve gotten and laid a good foundation. Even if your brand spanking new to leveraging the Internet for leads and sales chances are this is not your first stop (unfortunately) so you probably have an information or two about how to get started.
Ask Yourself Good, logical Questions
The point is, ask yourself this before you buy a product: will this help me {insert specific goal here}? Is this something I can use right now ? If the answer is no, don’t buy it.
Although you do need to invest in training to help you learn more to make more money, don’t invest in training that won’t help you reach your immediate goals. You won’t use it anyway.
Don’t Undervalue The Free Stuff!
"You get what you pay for" isn’t always true unless, of course, you remember my saying of, "Nothing is free even if all you had to pay is ATTENTION."
Just because the creator of a online sales and marketing training product is giving large amounts of free training doesn’t mean you should jump and buy the paid stuff.
That information can often be just what you needed. That is what has happened to me with most courses I’ve previewed but didn’t actually buy.
You can get tons of instantly implementable profit producing, time saving ideas and tips! Taking advice from the guru’s guru, Eben Pagen , many info product course creators do this intentionally to give more value for buying their stuff. it’s referred to as "Moving the free line" .
Good for them and good for you.
The bottom line is this: if you want your home based business to grow, you need a solid education and a creative plan, implement that plan and stay focused… throwing money at your problems is never the permanent, long term solution.
So, what’s stopping you from building a successful home based business?
Let’s eliminate that obstacle and grow!
I’d like to invite you to join the discussion of the pros, cons, reviews and "use-ability" of different online sales and marketing courses and training in the members only forum .
Keeping the wind behind your sales,
